I’ve been a little quiet during June as I focused my spare time on final arrangements for Circular Steel 2023, which was last week and a massive success. A big thank you to the Partners, the speakers and case study presenters, and of course those that attended.
The event was twice as big as last year, with just under 140 people in attendance from 85 companies. The spread across the industry also goes to show the wide interest in steel reuse and circularity.
The purpose of the event was to bring together the very best the industry has to offer, providing a unique space for experts, stakeholders, and enthusiasts to collectively shape the future of sustainable steel reuse.
I’ll share a better summary in due course, including footage from the day. But in the meantime, I’ve already seen some people giving their highlights on LinkedIn:
Duncan Baker-Brown finished the day off with a fantastic speech. The hands up in the photo were in response to the question “who is doing reused steel on a project today”.
As well as the 4 panel sessions, 7 case studies were presented at the event and you can read the presentation boards on the website, here.
Possibly the best and most open, honest and informative discussions in the built environment I have attended this year [Chris Atkins, Symmetrys]
